WHAT IS IT?
The CO2RE Intima s a medical laser that delivers controlled energy to the vaginal or vulva tissue – so cells make more collagen – improving skin tone, texture and appearance. The delivery of this laser energy to the vaginal wall stimulates a healing response that also enhances moisture levels in the vaginal canal.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The CO2RE Intima is used internally on the vaginal tissue and externally on the labia, using controlled energy to stimulate the cells to make more collagen, restoring the skin’s flexibility and shape, while improving the production of lubrication. The laser procedure is quick, simple and safe and can be done right in the office. The procedure is virtually painless, requires no anesthesia and typically takes around 15 minutes to treat both internally and externally.

WHAT DOES IT TREAT?
Regardless of age, women can experience changes in vaginal wellness or appearance that can affect quality of life in unexpected ways, leading to unpleasant symptoms. Intima treats these symptoms such as dryness, discomfort and loss of sensation that result from age, childbirth, hormones and menopause. The procedure also helps with incontinence issues. Most patients feel and see improvement after the first treatment, although the procedure requires three treatments spaced three to four weeks apart. There is virtually no downtime. Patients can return to normal activities right after the procedure, but should refrain from sexual activity for 7 days.

“I wanted to tighten up what had been stretched out, and I just felt like I looked a lot older than I am down south. I thought, ‘If they can fix that, it would be great!’ That was a plus, but incontinence was my biggest issue after having my son. I would go to the bathroom three times before running around the neighborhood, and oh-my-gosh, if I had a big sneeze?! From a sexual standpoint, the thought of it being even better than before I had our son? Wow.”
