Jennifer Lee, M.D., a Harvard Medical School graduate and faculty member at both Harvard and Vanderbilt universities, is set to open REN Dermatology off of Carothers Parkway, adjacent to the Williamson Medical Center in the Armana Center.

Dr. Jennifer Lee

“I am excited to be offering dermatologic care in Williamson County,” said Dr. Lee, who was Vanderbilt’s Teacher of the Year in the Division of Dermatology this year. “My goal is to provide quality care in a comfortable environment, where patients can be treated for a full spectrum of skin issues, including skin cancer, acne and psoriasis. We also perform injectable and laser cosmetic services. We want to offer a boutique practice that’s centered on a superior patient experience.”

REN Dermatology will feature state-of-the-art lasers such as the Pharos Excimer laser for the treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo and eczema; the CORE (CO2) fractional laser to treat wrinkles, skin aging, and acne scars; the Elos Plus laser for photo-rejuvenation and skin tightening as well as the GentleMax Pro for safe laser hair removal in patients of all skin colors. The clinic will also offer a UVB Phototherapy booth for medical ultraviolet light therapy for psoriasis and other skin diseases, and a full array of cosmetic procedures including Botulinum toxin and filler injections, medical grade chemical peels, and high-end skin care products.

The REN Dermatology office has a comfortable, contemporary design with ample natural lighting and a spacious layout. The practice caters to the patient’s needs, always ensuring privacy and confidentiality – including a separate private entry and waiting room for Dr. Lee’s high-profile patients, or those who desire additional privacy.

A native of Maryland, Dr. Lee attended the University of Maryland on a full-merit scholarship. While in college, she was a White House intern, performed research at the National Institutes of Health, and received the Sally Sterling Byrd award as the top graduating student in her class. After attending Harvard Medical School, she completed her residency under the tutelage of internationally renowned dermatologists at the Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit.

She later accepted a faculty position at Harvard Medical School. While in Boston, she was an attending dermatologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she established the Contact Dermatitis Clinic. In 2010, Dr. Lee joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty in the Division of Dermatology. As Medical Director of REN Dermatology, Dr. Lee will remain a clinical assistant professor at Vanderbilt, where she delivers lectures to the university’s medical students, residents, and attending physicians.

REN Dermatology is set to open in early December, and is currently accepting new patients. Convenient appointment hours include early morning, late afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. For more information, please visit www.rendermatology.com or call (615) 835-3220.
