What sets REN apart?
Dr. Lee is knowledgeable, caring and thorough. Her bedside manner is great! Our clinic is beautiful and welcoming. We strive to treat our patients with respect and want them to feel relaxed and “at home” in our office. We are also one of the few Dermatologist offices in Nashville that provide UVB and Excimer laser treatment for Psoriasis, Vitiligo and other skin conditions.
What is your guilty pleasure?
CHOCOLATE, and a glass of merlot.
What’s one thing you could never live without?
My water bottle – I carry it everywhere I go!
What interests you the most about dermatology?
I am an aesthetician, so skin amazes me anyway – but with Dermatology, it goes deeper. There are so many different skin conditions and lesions that I was unaware of and so many different methods of treatment. Also, all of the annoying things that pop up as we age… there are ways to get rid of them! I LOVE that!
What is your favorite movie + why?
I have so many… Chocolat – Johnny Depp, chocolate and a quaint little French village – ’nuff said! Oh, and Labyrinth. I have been fascinated by this movie since I was a kid.
Tell us about somebody who has impacted your life in a major way.
My sister, Robin – always inspirational, and always there for me.
Personally, what are your favorite treatments or products at REN + why?
One of my favorite treatments is IPL (Intense Pulsed Light by Elos Plus). It gets rid of the red and brown spots that drive me crazy.
I’m also a big fan of the micro-needling, which is an amazing treatment. It’s easy and quick, with no downtime. Typically, it takes a couple of weeks to notice results but I could see a difference within a couple of days! My pores looked smaller and my skin felt tighter.
I also LOVE the Latisse! It gives me longer and thicker lashes. It works beautifully. As far as skin products, I really like the NeoCutis Lumiere Riche Eye Cream. It reduces fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. Best eye cream I have ever used!

What is your best skincare advice?
Drink lots of water! Wash your face every night before bed. Wear a good moisturizer for morning and night (NeoCutis BioCream Riche). WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN during the day (NeoCutis Journee or SkinMedica SPF 30).
Tell us something you’ve learned since you started working at REN.
Don’t get too freaked out over a mole until you have learned your ABCDE’s of Melanoma. If you notice a mole that appears different from others, or that changes, enlarges, itches or bleeds, you should see come see us. I have also learned the importance of having an amazing team of co-workers who are positive, compassionate and willing to go that extra step to educate. I love my job!
