‘Tis the season to look your best. With December just around the corner, it’s important that we find time to take care of ourselves in the midst of planning and preparing for all of those upcoming holiday festivities. Below are four treatments you might consider trying, in order to look (and feel!) amazing as you surround yourself with family and friends during this jolly time of year!

Holiday glam

1. Neuromodulators | These effective treatments—BotoxDysport and Xeomin—should take place at least two weeks prior to your event to allow for the full effect to set in. If you’re not sure which one is best for your needs, Dr. Lee can explain the differences between each of the options and help you make a decision that’s best for you.

2. Fillers | You may have heard names like JuvédermVolumaRestylaneRadiesseand Belotero but do you know exactly how each one works? Schedule an appointment at least 1-2 weeks before your holiday event and learn how you can achieve a more youthful look with one of these popular treatments (slight bruising may occur, so it’s really important to plan ahead). Under proper conditions, fillers are safe for patients of all ages and generally take effect immediately.

3. Eyelash Extensions | Who wouldn’t want to wake up with long, thick, dark lashes to frame their eyes? These are among our most popular aesthetic treatments, allowing you to skip the mascara while still looking wide-eyed and lovely throughout the day, and glamorous at night. Kara, our Licensed Medical Aesthetician has quickly attracted a loyal following of patients who rely on her for those natural-looking, beautiful lashes, which she customizes to your preferred length, thickness, color and curl. Schedule an appointment today for your treatment—these slots get booked fast, especially during the holidays!

4. Chemical Peels | These generally vary in terms of intensity, and the amount of irritation and peeling you experience. A light and gentle one (like our Illuminize peel) can be done just 1-2 days before your event. This treatment will leave your skin feeling softer than ever, allow makeup to be applied smoothly and make the face look more radiant (Dr. Lee loves having one of these done on a Thursday to prepare for big weekend plans!).

A stronger peel may require two days of downtime due to dryness and peeling, but will have a greater effect on lightening sun damage, and exfoliating dry unhealthy skin. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Lee to help determine which chemical peel is right for you!
