We are honored to have been shouted out by our favorite local (and glam) modern-day farmer Stephanie Allen. Stephanie and her husband Daniel run Allenbrooke Farms, a Certified Organic CSA and gorgeous wedding venue farm located in Spring Hill, Tennessee (just south of where REN is in Franklin).

At REN Dermatology & Laser Center, we have many farmer (or retired farmer) patients. Unfortunately, due to years under the sun, many of them have significant sun damage to the skin and often develop skin cancers. We applaud Stephanie’s diligence in protecting her skin from harmful ultraviolet rays while out working on the farm. Daily sunscreen as well as wide-brimmed hats and sun-protective clothing are essential for preventing skin cancers and premature wrinkles. It is also important to have regular skin-cancer screenings. At REN, we recommend once a year full skin exams by one of our board-certified Dermatologists.

Stephanie may not be what you “expect” a Farmer to look like (as she references in her article)- but make no mistake, she is active on the farm and very involved with daily operations. She also helps run the popular wedding venue at Allenbrooke- their beautiful 5800 square foot barn.
Dan and Stephanie are Nashville natives (and Franklin High School grads!) and their farm is one reason REN Dermatology & Laser Center is proud to be part of the Franklin and Williamson County community.
